A passionate and dedicated teacher of the Violin, Viola, Piano and Music Theory
Rebecca has been running a thriving and very successful private teaching practice for the past 18 years. She has also worked for many years in the same capacity in both the State and Private sector in Hertfordshire, London and the surrounding areas.
Rebecca has taught a wide range of students from the ages of 6 years to adult from special needs to those deemed as ‘gifted,’ from beginners to grade 8. Some students have successfully continued their studies to diploma level, achieving the DIP ABRSM.
Rebecca is committed to teaching those students who have a passion for learning regardless of proficiency and level.
Students follow the ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall Syllabi and of those, many have achieved high merits and distinctions. Some students have been described as ‘outstanding’ and have been selected for regional concerts (awarded to those students who achieve exceptional results).
A number of students have been recognised as ‘gifted’ and entered the Royal Colleges of Music as Junior Exhibitioners:

I support those students studying GCSE and A level Music, where the instrumental categories incorporate a percentage of the examination. All those students have achieved nothing less than A, or A* in their performance categories.
I employ a positive teaching approach, utilising a range of teaching methods to develop a student’s technical foundation. The ethos of my teaching is for every student to fulfil their musical potential and transcend their own expectations of what they believe they can achieve.
